In hard-to-reach and pastoralist communities, TB awareness is often the missing link between illness and recovery. While social mobilization is the engine of prevention, socio-cultural barriers and mobility patterns often stall progress.

Through our Expertise France-supported project, REACH Ethiopia is closing this gap by:
- Delivering accurate, evidence-based TB information
- Engaging trusted community members as information ambassadors
- Providing expert guidance to ensure message quality and consistency
- Effectively utilizing the local information dissemination system, DAGU
- Leveraging all accessible communication channels to reach every community member

This strategic approach is already showing measurable impact. We are witnessing an increase in self-referred individuals seeking TB screening and testing services a strong indicator that awareness is translating into action. Early information saves lives. Empowered communities prevent disease.
