Collaborative Review of Urban TB LON II Project Shapes Future Direction and Sustainability Plans

As part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement, we recently conducted a comprehensive review of the USAID Urban TB LON II project’s performance. This collaborative meeting, held on August 7-8, 2025, in Addis Ababa, brought together project staff to collectively assess progress and strategize for future success.

The sessions were designed to facilitate a data-driven decision-making process. We meticulously reviewed performance against key indicators, examined progress across all technical areas, and analyzed completed activities. This structured evaluation allowed us to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to address them proactively, ensuring the project remains on track to achieve its goals.

Key topics of discussion included:

  • Project Challenges and Mitigation Strategies: We openly discussed hurdles faced during implementation and developed robust strategies to overcome them.
  • Upcoming Activities and Resource Allocation: We prioritized upcoming activities and optimized resource allocation to maximize our impact of the project.
  • Future Direction and Sustainability Plans: A major focus was on building a sustainable framework

This collaborative approach is essential for enhancing project impact and ensuring we meet our long-term objectives. By regularly engaging in these performance-assessment cycles, we create a culture of accountability and continuous learning, which is vital for the project’s success and for the communities we serve.
