Under the iNTP 2.0 project, REACH Ethiopia successfully conducted a comprehensive four-day integrated training program in Addis Ababa and Shaggar City. This initiative focused on enhancing regional TB diagnostic capabilities by equipping 58 laboratory professionals with advanced technical expertise.
The training covered the operation of GeneXpert machines for both Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra and XDR assays, ensuring that both new and existing diagnostic sites are prepared to tackle drug-resistant TB. A key highlight of the program was the focus on the LabXpert connectivity system, which empowers participants to streamline digital data management across facilities.
All participants successfully completed the curriculum and were awarded CPD certification, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to improve TB diagnostic accuracy and efficiency across Ethiopia.
