We are proud to participate in the Addis Ababa Summer Volunteerism Health Services Program. Working within the Kolfe Keraniyo and Akaki Kality Sub Cities, our mission is to bring vital medical care directly to the people who need it most.
Leveraging Technology for Impact
During our latest outreach, our team deployed advanced AI-powered digital X-ray screening alongside comprehensive health education and awareness sessions. By combining cutting-edge diagnostic tools with direct community engagement, we are able to provide faster, more accurate care in underserved areas.
Our Impact
Through our dedication this summer, we have achieved the following:
- Targeted Screening: Assessed individuals presenting with key symptoms.
- Rapid Diagnostics: Utilized AI-integrated digital X-rays to instantly identify suggestive cases, followed by GeneXpert sputum testing for definitive results.
- Seamless Care Linkage: Successfully conducted TB screening and ensured that all confirmed positive cases were immediately linked to treatment programs.
We belive that “Early detection saves lives” and we are working to make this true by leveraging modern diagnostic tools to bridge the gap to quality healthcare.
