Through the Urban TB LON II project, supported by the U.S. Government, REACH Ethiopia is on a mission to break the cycle of transmission. We believe that finding every case is the only way to save lives.
We don’t just wait for patients; we go to them. In collaboration with healthcare workers, our team conducts active TB case finding in “hotspot” areas, bridging the gap between high-risk communities & the essential treatment they deserve.
Our Impact in Action:
- 📍 Coverage: 8 zones across Oromia, Sidama, Central, and South Ethiopia.
- 🏠 Method: House-to-house, Facility level & community-wide screenings.
- 🔬 Technology: Digital X-ray and on-site sample collection for GeneXpert testing.
