Empowering the Next Generation to End TB

Schools are more than just places of learning; they are vital hubs for community health. By educating students about TB, we aren’t just reaching individuals we are reaching their families, neighbors & the wider community.

As part of the Urban TB LON II project, our team & volunteers conducted a TB awareness session at a government primary school in Addis Ababa. We engaged with students, distributed educational brochures & emphasized the critical importance of early detection & treatment.

Our goal is clear: Find every missed TB case, provide a cure & save lives. This activity is supported by the U.S. Government. Together, we are building a TB-free future!

REACH Ethiopia grew out of a TB project that started in 2010. This project introduced an innovative community package that engaged health extension workers (HEWs) to increase TB case detection and treatment adherence.
