We successfully conduct the Primary Health Care Unit (PHCU) review meetings across eight zones in the Oromia, Sidama, Central, and South Ethiopia regions.

These sessions served as a vital platform for health leaders and practitioners to strategize on a singular mission: scaling up TB prevention and care at both the facility and community levels.

Our Reach and Impact
Through the Urban TB LON II Project, we are actively strengthening the backbone of Ethiopia’s health system. By focusing on localized, accessible care, we ensure that life-saving services reach those who need them most.

- 539 PHCUs directly supported with technical resources and guidance.
- 1,783 Satellite Health Posts empowered to provide community-level intervention.
- 8 Zones covered across four major regions (Oromia, Sidama, Central, and South Ethiopia).

Every life saved brings us closer to a TB-free future. By bridging the gap between urban facilities and rural health posts, we ensure that no one is left behind in our journey toward health equity.

Collaboration for a TB-Free Future
The progress we’ve seen during these review meetings is a testament to the dedication of our regional health bureaus and frontline workers. This impact is made possible through the generous support of the U.S. Department of State – Foreign Assistance Division.
