Early Detection Saves Lives!

Symptom-based TB screening is our strongest weapon against TB. By identifying symptoms early, we stop the spread & ensure timely treatment. This is why we conduct these screenings as a routine activity across all our project areas, it’s a core part of our daily commitment to community health.
Our team, alongside healthcare workers, recently provided comprehensive TB screenings across Guji & Borena zones of Oromia Region.

Additionally, we delivered vital health education, identified symptomatic individuals, & facilitated immediate follow-up care for those in need. To ensure no one is left behind, we also engaged community leaders & Abbagadas with targeted health education and community-based screening.

This essential work is made possible through the Urban TB LON II Project, supported by the U.S. Department of State -Foreign Assistance Division.
