Yesterday we successfully conducted a TB Sensitization Training for healthcare professionals from selected health facilities across the Akaki Kality Sub-City, Addis Ababa.

Organized by the Urban TB LON II Project, this training empowered approximately 80 healthcare workers with advanced knowledge, clinical insights, and strategic tools.

Objectives of the Training
- Enhance TB Screening & Early Detection: Implementing proactive identification methods to catch cases early.
- Improve Patient-Centered Care: Ensuring compassionate, high-quality support throughout the patient journey.
- Strengthen Management Protocols: Streamlining TB treatment and tracking workflows across local health facilities.

Frontline healthcare workers remain the true backbone of our community health system. Equipping them with up-to-date training brings us one step closer to a healthier, stronger community.
Key Message: “Every client screened, every presumptive TB patient tested, every confirmed TB patient treated.”
