According to World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, healthcare workers face a significantly higher risk of TB infection due to occupational exposure compared to the general population.

Beyond caring for the community, we are dedicated to protecting healthcare workers and administrative staff at both facility and community levels. Because TB does not discriminate, robust infection prevention and control (IPC) is vital to breaking the chain of transmission.

Capacity Building in Action
To address this critical need, we recently conducted capacity-building training sessions on TB Infection Control (TBIC/IPC) across public and private health facilities in Addis Ababa.
- 138 Healthcare Workers successfully completed training.
- 4 Intensive Rounds of workshops were conducted.
- Key Focus: Strengthening institutional capacities and fostering a culture of safety for both patients and personnel.

By equipping our frontline workers with the right knowledge and tools, we ensure safer facilities, protected personnel, and healthier communities at large.
